Stop
Crop & Shop Consignment Contract - All consigned handmade work must be original
in design and made by the consignee.
- Should the consignee live at a distance, work can be shipped USPS, UPS or FedEx
– Packing and shipping charges, insurance costs, other handling expenses and risk of loss will be the sole responsibility
of the consignee. Insurance and Delivery confirmation is suggested.
- Consignee establishes retail
prices. In the event of sale, the consignee receives 60% of the established price.
- Stop Crop & Shop
is responsible for payment within 45 days of sale. Payment will be sent to the consignee directly. If you’d like to
check on the status of your sales or inventory please allow plenty of time for Stop Crop & Shop to compile the information
and get back you.
- Prices cannot be lowered
after a period of time. We encourage the consignee to give us the best possible price at the time of delivery.
- Stop
Crop & Shop will use its best efforts to promote the sale of
items for consignee.
- Consignee agrees that Stop Crop & Shop has the right to display items in their
store, on their website, and at any crops or sales events Stop Crop & Shop sees fit.
- Not all items will make
it on the web site but will be displayed in the store – if you would like to be sure your items are listed please email
a jpeg photo of each item individually along with a price and complete description of your product listing materials used
etc.
- A statement of account will be given to each consignee upon request.
- Items on consignment
will have no identifying label other than the artist's signature, name, or packaging. Please package your items for resale
– if you need assistance please let us know.
- Pick up and delivery must be done during advertised
shop hours. The consignee should deliver items packed in a disposable carton. Each item must be clearly marked with its retail
price.
- A descriptive list of the items with the retail prices should be included with all items delivered,
shipped and or picked up - please use the "consignment list" form and be sure to complete the form in full with
each delivery/pickup.
- The craftsperson agrees that he/she will not undersell or consign similar items
for less than the retail price he establishes at Stop Crop & Shop.
- The craftsperson accepts responsibility for shop wear (i.e. soiling, etc).
- Stop Crop & Shop is NOT responsible for any and all losses (i.e. fire, theft, loss,
shipping damage or loss, etc.).
- All sales will be final
and Stop Crop & Shop will take no responsibility for any item that is sold.
- Notice
to terminate this contract must be sent in writing or e-mail to Stop Crop & Shop Upon receiving notice of
termination, ALL items will be shipped back to the consigner at his/her expense or arrangement for pick up
can be made.
- Stop Crop & Shop must be informed of
any address changes immediately. Every effort will be made to return items to the craft person at the end of the contract
period. However, if the craft person can't be located items will be kept for a period of 60 days - after 60 days all unclaimed
items become the property of Stop Crop & Shop.
Please do not send craft items
until you have sent photos and prices and have received an approval from Stop Crop & Shop. I, the consignor, understand
I am fully responsible for merchandise I consign at Stop Crop & Shop. I understand and agree fully to the agreement outlined
